An industrial visit to the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), Pune was organized to provide students with practical exposure to media and communication technologies. Students explored camera systems, sound recording and editing processes, and studio production workflows. Demonstrations on professional equipment, including cameras, control systems, and software such as Pro Tools and Audacity, enhanced their understanding of real-world applications. Sessions on broadcasting systems and computer graphics further enriched learning. The visit effectively bridged theoretical concepts with industry practices, encouraging interdisciplinary learning and offering valuable insights into the integration of engineering technologies in film and television production.
Industrial Visit to PMPML Electric Bus Depot, Wagholi
An industrial visit to the PMPML Electric Bus Depot, Wagholi provided students with hands-on exposure to electric vehicle (EV) technology and infrastructure. Participants studied EV power architecture, battery systems, motor integration, and charging mechanisms. The visit included insights into AC/DC charging, CCS2 and GB/T standards, and modern charging stations. Students also explored auxiliary systems, telematics, and safety aspects of high-voltage systems. Interaction with industry experts from Olectra and Eveytrans enhanced practical understanding. The visit successfully bridged theoretical knowledge with real-world EV applications, preparing students for emerging opportunities in sustainable transportation and electric mobility sectors.
