Students Services

At the School of Law, we believe that a student's success is defined by more than just their performance in the classroom. Our Student Services ecosystem is designed to be the backbone of your academic journey, providing a seamless blend of administrative support, professional mentorship, and personal well-being.

Whether you are looking to sharpen your advocacy skills in our state-of-the-art Moot Court, or requiring career counseling to navigate the complex legal landscape, our dedicated services are here to ensure you have the resources needed to thrive. We are committed to fostering an inclusive, resource-rich environment that empowers every aspiring legal mind to transition confidently from a student to a socially responsible legal professional.

Academic & Administrative Support

Student Section/Office: A dedicated Student Section that helps with all your administrative needs, handling admissions, enrollment, and student records. It is the primary point of contact for obtaining official certificates, ID cards, and scholarship assistance.

Examination Cell: A dedicated cell generating timetables and hall tickets to conducting internal and university exams. It is responsible for the fair assessment of students and the timely declaration of results and marksheets.

Professional & Legal Development

Law students require specific services to bridge the gap between the classroom and the courtroom.

Moot Court Society: The Moot Court Society serves as a specialized training ground where students practice legal advocacy in a simulated courtroom. It organizes internal competitions and prepares teams to represent the university in prestigious national and international moot court events.

Legal Aid Clinic: The Legal Aid Clinic provides free legal advice and assistance to the underprivileged, bridging the gap between the law and the community. It offers students hands-on experience through legal awareness camps, pro bono work, and real-world dispute resolution.

Learning Resources

Law Library & E-Resources: Access to legal databases (like SCC Online or Manupatra), book bank facilities, and reading room hours.

Language & Soft Skills Lab: Support for improving legal writing, drafting, and oral advocacy skills.

Remedial Coaching: Specific support for slow learners or students needing extra help with complex legal subjects.

Student Wellness & Campus Life

Counseling Services: Our Meraki Cell provides personal and psychological counseling to help students manage the high-stress environment of law school.

Health & Medical: Access to the campus health center and ambulance services.

Hostel & Transport: Detailed information on campus housing, mess facilities, and university bus routes will be provided during admission counselling.

Anti-Ragging Cell: A powerful Anti-Ragging Cell of JSPM University ensures that all the students are protected from such acts.
