ACTIVITY REPORT:

JSPM University Pune, Faculty of Health Sciences, School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, under the National Intellectual Property Awareness Mission in collaboration with the esteemed knowledge partner, Government of India, Rajiv Gandhi National Institute of Intellectual Property Management (RGNIIPM) Nagpur, successfully conducted a one-day National workshop entitled “Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) & Patents and Design Filing," on Wednesday, November 1, 2023.

The distinguished speaker for the event was Mrs. Pooja V. Maulikar, Examiner of Patents and Designs at RGNIIPM who brought a wealth of expertise in the field. She eloquently explained the different types of intellectual property, their significance in innovation, and their legal implications. The event saw an overwhelming response with a total of 521 registered delegates in attendance demonstrating the keen interest and importance attached to the subject matter. This workshop stands as a testament to the university's commitment to fostering intellectual property awareness and innovation within the academic community.
